One Shot Assassin is a strategy-based 2D ricochet shooting puzzle game developed as part of a Computer Graphics course project. The game challenges players to eliminate all enemies using a limited number of bullets by strategically utilizing ricochet mechanics. Built with Python, Pygame, and PyOpenGL, the project focuses on low-level graphics programming, OpenGL rendering, collision detection, physics simulation, and game state management. Every visual element—including UI components, lighting effects, gradients, and particle systems—is generated programmatically without external assets. The project was later extended with modern software engineering practices, including containerization, CI/CD automation, and production deployment. ## Key Features • Strategy-based ricochet shooting gameplay. • Realistic bullet reflection and collision detection. • Physics-based ricochet mechanics with multiple wall bounces. • Dynamic particle effects, glow rendering, and visual animations. • OpenGL-accelerated rendering with gradients and lighting effects. • Real-time trajectory prediction using raycasting. • Multiple game levels with increasing difficulty. • State-driven game architecture with smooth scene transitions. • Dockerized application with GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline. • Production deployment using DigitalOcean, Nginx Proxy Manager, and Cloudflare. ## Technical Highlights • OpenGL Rendering (PyOpenGL) • 2D Graphics Programming • Collision Detection • Ricochet Physics Simulation • Raycasting & Aim Prediction • Particle System • Game State Management • Object-Oriented Game Architecture • Containerized Deployment • Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) ## Technologies Python • Pygame • PyOpenGL • OpenGL • JavaScript • HTML5 Canvas • Docker • GitHub Actions • DigitalOcean • Nginx Proxy Manager • Cloudflare
